Periodontal Procedures

Periodontal scaling and root planing, or “deep cleaning,” is performed in conjunction with the use of a diode laser. This results in “speed healing,” also call photobiomodulation. As the plaque and calcified deposits are removed from the tooth and root surfaces, periodontal health can be achieved. The reduction of inflammation and bacteria in the mouth has long been known to provide a healthier mouth and may contribute to overall better health!
